What this visualizer shows
Select a carat weight to see the site’s approximate Asscher face-up width planning range. The reference is useful for scale, but carat is weight—not a fixed millimeter size—and real diamonds at the same weight vary.
How to interpret the comparison
The visualizer is a planning aid. For an actual candidate, switch to the millimeter guide and compare the grading-report length × width × depth. Two 1.00 ct Asschers can have noticeably different visible footprints.
A larger carat number does not translate linearly into face-up width. Weight is distributed in three dimensions, and a deeper stone can hide more of its mass below the girdle. For Asschers, compare the grading report’s actual length and width rather than assuming every 1.50 ct stone presents the same visible footprint.
