Corrections Policy

AsscherDiamond.com aims to make factual claims traceable and to correct material errors when they are identified. Diamond markets, retailer policies and available inventory also change, so not every change in the outside world means the original statement was erroneous.

What qualifies for correction

• incorrect gemological or historical facts;
• incorrect quotations, dates, measurements or source attribution;
• materially outdated retailer-policy statements;
• data presented with greater certainty than the underlying methodology supports;
• broken or changed source references that affect a claim.

How corrections are handled

We review the cited evidence, revise the affected passage, and update the page date when the correction is substantive. If a claim cannot be adequately supported, it should be narrowed or removed rather than left in place with a weak citation.

Price and inventory changes

Price movement and inventory turnover are normal. Historical ranges are not silently rewritten to imply they were always current. Where possible, measured market updates should show an observation date and methodology.
